Visit of SIRACUSA and Infiorata of NOTO

In Noto, near Syracuse, it hosts one of the most striking events of the island, the Flower Festival. A tradition that takes place every year on the third Sunday of May.
Unique opportunity to get to know Noto and its "pink palace", by the color of limestone with which they are made. Its Baroque buildings, starting from the beautiful cathedral of Noto, have been defined by UNESCO as World Heritage. The Flower Festival also offers the opportunity to visit Sicily in a year characterized by generally mild climate, before the summer heat and in particular the Val di Noto. Thousands of tourists flock each year to the city to attend the event accompanied by events such as tastings of local products, exhibitions and screenings. Among these was the Procession Baroque, with auctioneers flag bearers and musicians parading through the streets of Old Town.
An event marked by some of the highlights: Friday evening prepare the flowers begin to paint on the street Nicolaci floor drafts of the works that are meant to represent. For the realization uses thousands of colorful flower petals and seeds, turning the city into a large floral carpet. Via Corrado Nicolaci is the road that serves as all'Infiorata frame: the way is floral display throughout its length (122 meters) and width (6 meters). Courtyards, cloisters and lanes are decorated with panels made on the ability of artists offering, each year, several reasons.
Description tour 1 day
- 9:00 pm gathering participants to visit Siracusa, meeting with the guide that will let us see all the artistic beauties of the City.
- Lunch at restaurant in Ortigia, fish menu.
- After lunch transfer to Noto meeting with the guide.
- 15:00 o'clock beginning Baroque courtesy, free afternoon.
- Late night back home.

Booking condition
- A deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required upon booking. The balance must be paid by bank transfer 15 days before arrival.
Condition of fruition
- Sicily Sea Holiday reserves the right to change itinerary if, for reasons of bad weather or other causes, it is not possible to visit the designated place.
Withdrawal status
In case of cancellation the deposit of 30% paid at the time of booking will be in no way refundable. The withdrawal is allowed up to 30 days before the service is served.
